About Course

Purpose: This module focuses on key tasks in post-award evaluation for institutional training programs. It helps learners review and update evaluation plans, clarify roles and responsibilities, select appropriate data sources, and choose feasible evaluation methods aligned with program objectives and resources. 

Learning Objectives: By the end of this module, learners will be able to:

  • Revisit and update funded evaluation plans to align with program goals, available resources, and practical implementation needs. 
  • Identify and utilize common data collection tools by distinguishing between administrative data, embedded tools, and direct feedback instruments. 
  • Choose evaluation methods that match key questions by linking metrics to the three pillars of institutional training program evaluation. 
  • Evaluate the feasibility of various assessment methods by considering resource requirements, participant burden, and data quality needs.
